Marianne Williamson: ‘Power of mind’ can prevent Hurricane Dorian destruction

During the July debate, Democratic hopeful Marianne Williamson mentioned the “dark psychic force of the collectivized hatred” in the United States government. The spiritual health author implied that electing a new president could rid the country of this evil.

However, after discussing ways to save people from Hurricane Dorian’s destruction in since-deleted tweets, it seems that simple mind power can destroy evil. Or redirect a storm, at the very least.

“The Bahamas, Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas…may all be in our prayers now. Millions of us seeing Dorian turn away from land is not a wacky idea; it is a creative use of the power of the mind. Two minutes of prayer, visualization, meditation for those in the way of the storm,” Williamson’s original tweet read.

The tweet was replaced with a new, simpler post: “Prayers for the people of the Bahamas, Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas.”

Patricia Ewing, Williamson’s campaign spokeswoman, claimed that the original post was a metaphor and was deleted due to confusion over its true meaning.

After receiving criticism over the tweet, Williamson took to Twitter again to discuss a more significant spiritual issue she sees in the Democratic Party.

“Millions of people today are praying that Dorian turn away from land, and treating those people with mockery or condescension because they believe it could help is part of how the overly secularized Left has lost lots of voters,” Williamson tweeted.

Williamson, who was a media sensation during the first two Democratic debates, failed to qualify for the third debate in Houston. She was able to reach the DNC’s requirement of 130,000 unique donors but fell short on the polling threshold.

Despite not having great chances to earn the Democratic nomination at +10000 odds, Williamson has strong support from her voters and could still qualify for the fourth debate in Ohio next month.
